• New product introduction
• Over 500,000 units sold
• Multiple award-winning infomercial

The marketers of the alien Ultimate Wedge decided to bypass the traditional path to launching a new product for retail, which often involves years of relationship building with retailers and professional golfers. Instead, they opted for a direct response television campaign to introduce the product and the company.
Produced by Script to Screen, the infomercial took alien Sport. Inc., from a small unknown company to a business with brand name recognition in less than one year.

The infomercial is a workhorse for the golf club maker, driving in thousands of direct and retail sales. To date, more than 500,000 units of the club have been sold as a result of the TV campaign. Actress Lee Meriwether, former NFL quarterback Jim Plunkett, and pro baseball vets Doug DeCinces and Jay Johnstone still give the wedge a workout, but now testimonials from all over the country attest to the golf club's effectiveness.

Script to Screen also produced a pair of short-form direct response commercials for the wedge that have performed very well. Additionally, Script to Screen helped create the alien Sport Travel Club.

The program has earned several awards, including "Most Innovative New Product Infomercial," "Best Sports Product Infomercial," and a Clio Award in the infomercial category.
