Faced with an overwhelming
demand from women to create a machine that could address the
specific "problem areas" of the legs, thighs, buttocks,
and arms, NordicTrack's engineering team set out on the difficult
task of designing a machine that would effectively target these
hard-to-tone areas. With their expertise and years of research,
NordicTrack developed the new LegShaper.
In a world of machines
that made the same claims, but could not deliver, the LegShaper
is the first piece of exercise equipment specifically designed
to target all those hard-to-tone areas and produce dramatic results.
In producing a successful
direct response television campaign, NordicTrack and Script to
Screen once again united their talents to produce a stylish infomercial
that appealed to women everywhere who wanted to enhance their
physique. Adding to the air of elegance, the infomercial is hosted
by beautiful television actress and owner of her own chain of
women's fitness centers, Linda Evans, along with fitness expert
Gin Miller. The LegShaper infomercial features stunning 35 millimeter
film photography, a conversational interactive format, emotional
testimonials, and graphic product demonstrations, all while presenting
the product in a refined, yet persuasive and informative light.
The NordicTrack's LegShaper
infomercial struck the right chord for women, as the show has
been airing nationally since December of 1996 to much success.
