Introducing a new golf
product to an already overcrowded market place is never easy
for an established club manufacturer, let alone an entrepreneurial
company with little experience in the industry.
PureSpin Golf, a start-up
company, came to Script to Screen to develop an infomercial that
would introduce its line of Diamond Face Scoring wedges to the
golf market place.
Script to Screen designed an infomercial that focused on the
importance of the short game in golf, and how the Diamond Faced
Scoring Wedge could improve this important part of a golfer's
game. To establish credibility for what was obviously an excellent
product, Script to Screen hired ESPN golf anchor, Jim Kelly to
host the show, and filmed the infomercial at the beautiful Temecula
Creek Inn Golf Course in Southern California.
The Diamond Face Scoring
Wedge has sold 250,000 units to date, and it is the No. 1 Wedge
on the Senior PGA Tour.
