In 2005 SBC
Global, (now
known as AT&T,
Inc. since
its acquisition
of AT&T),
came to Script
to Screen to
produce an
infomercial
to promote
their new SBC
Bundled Services.
Their objectives
were to offer
four services, SBC
Local Phone
Service,
SBC
Long Distance
Phone Service,
SBC/Yahoo
DSL High
Speed
Internet
Access,
and SBC
Dish Network
Satellite
TV, all for
the one low
price of
under $85
per month.
Through the
use of
an excellent
host, Jim
Meskiman,
who narrated
the infomercial,
and testimonials
who already
owned the
package,
Script
to
Screen
effectively
communicated
the economic
value of
buying
all four
services
from one
company,
and the
convenience
of having
to pay
just
one
bill per
month.
The infomercial
tested
successfully
in November
2005,
and rolled
out nationally.
