ICON HEALTH & FITNESS RE-ENTERS INFOMERCIAL
ARENA WITH NEW SHORT FROM CAMPAIGN
Santa Ana, CAJanuary 10, 2003, Script to Screen recently completed
its fourth short form campaign for Icon Health & Fitness, it
was announced by Tony Kerry, Senior Vice President of Marketing
at Script to Screen, Inc.
The two-minute direct response commercial features the Gold's Gym
Power Flex, a high end fitness machine that is manufactured and
marketed by Icon Health & Fitness, the worlds largest
manufacturer and marketer of home fitness equipment.
Icon Health & Fitness' objectives for this DRTV campaign were
to introduce the Power Flex to DRTV, the internet, and to create
retail demand.
After testing successfully in June 2002, Icon rolled the spot out
nationally. It airs regularly on national networks such as ESPN,
and regional cable such as Fox affiliates.
The spot won the prestigious award for Best Corporate Short Form
commercial at the 2002 Annual Electronic Retailing Association Conference
and Expo held at the Paris Hotel in Las Vegas.

commercial is a perfect illustration of a corporate client utilizing
the DRTV format to not only generate direct sales, but to create
