When developing the Oreck XL Upright Vacuum infomercial, we wanted to glean from the success that Oreck achieved at QVC, by making a show that looked and felt like a QVC appearance. We especially wanted to draw upon the down-home charm of David Oreck in capturing his direct presentation.

The Oreck Challenge infomercial tested successfully in May 2003 with a media efficiency ratio of 4:1, followed by a national roll-out.

The front end profitability of the Oreck XL infomercial was exceptional due to its outstanding retail distribution.

The sequel Oreck XL21 Vacuum infomercial was awarded 2007 Best Housewares Infomercial by the Electronic Retailing Association, with David Oreck awarded Best Male Presenter.
