Hey everyone, it’s Alex Dinsmoor, coming to you with a CES 2024 recap.

Excited to say that the traffic at the show was back to, I’d say, pre pandemic levels as people everywhere, trade show floors were really full. A lot of eye candy. If you like to see what the future holds, it’s certainly a fun show to walk around. From a marketing standpoint, in the DTC space, I spent most of my time in the hall that had, beauty tech, fitness tech connected home. Great to see some of our existing clients there said they were having a great show. It’s always great to catch up with people. you know.

I think what was really interesting is that AARP had one of the biggest spaces there and featuring dozens of brands that are really focusing on bringing technology to baby boomers and helping with adoption of this technology. And that seems to be where so much growth is, from a buying power and, just, you know, trying to help this specific part of the population leverage technology across all of these channels.

Certainly, health and wellness are huge, but just being able to make the most out of life and, and everything that technology has to offer. So, I think that’s one of the biggest takeaways, is that they’re trying to make everyday life better for everyone. You know, it’s, it was a great show for me, and I think you’re gonna see a lot of great products coming, uh, out in the future. I would say that, um, a DTC marketing standpoint, you’re gonna continue to see some of these tried-and-true categories in the health and wellness space continue to do well again and again, just I think people are going to follow the money, which is from a spending power, which is in this baby boomer, you know, 50 plus demographics. So, um, that’s it for now and I’ll, I’ll see you guys probably at one of the next trade shows or conferences and thanks for checking this out.
